fTLD in consultation with its Advisory Council and Board has proposed a Registrant Domain Name Compliance Escalation and Suspension Policy for .BANK. The proposed Policy is now posted for Public Comment and you can read more here.
On Monday, May 2, 2022, at 11am EDT (check your local time here), fTLD will release the previously reserved two-letter domains listed below on a first-come-first-served basis, subject to an approved Verification Application to confirm eligibility. As these are premium domains, prospective applicants should check with an fTLD-Approved Registrar for pricing. No applications will be accepted before 11am EDT.

fTLD’s .BANK and .INSURANCE domains get security boost in web browsers with their addition to the preload list for HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS). This security policy will enforce secure connections between web browsers and all websites across .BANK and .INSURANCE.
